Dominica Maslog Cardinal passed away at Memorial Health on Monday, October 3, 2022 with her children by her side. Born on August 4, 1938 in Legazpi City, Albay Province, Philippines, she was the daughter to the late Ignacio Maslog and Trinidad O’Castro. She attended the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines where she earned Bachelors of Science in Education. Upon graduation, she worked at Feati University in Manila, Philippines as a Librarian. In 1969, Dominica took flight by herself and immigrated to the United States with three children under the age of four years old.
In 1975, she fled Vietnam with her husband and seven children to an unfamiliar country, not knowing the language, culture, and people. Through her faith and strength, she was a successful business owner while raising her children and servicing her church and community. She was the best friend and beloved wife of Bob Farr. Together they created a love and happiness that made their lives magical. Beautifully, their relationship didn’t overshadow Ann’s other roles, it enhanced them. Ann was a wonderful mother to Shawn Kasserman, Amy O’Connell and her precious Kerry Kasserman. Ann formed a special love with her “Farr kids” Brian Farr, Kathy Johnson who added so much to her life with their devotion and support.

Mrs. Helen Edith Perry, 93, died peacefully Wednesday, July 13th at St. Joseph’s hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born August 5, 1928, in Union, SC to the late Walter Harris and Madge Woods Harris Lackey. In addition to her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis L. Perry and her daughter, Phyllis Lynn Wilkes. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Poole of Augusta; Phillip Perry of Hoschton, Georgia; and Eddie Perry of Cleveland, Georgia.
